The Market Isn't Saturated. You're in the Wrong Lane.

Everyone's talking about how saturated the Pilates market is. I think they're looking at the wrong problem.


Yes, there are more studios, more instructors, more certifications than ever before. But here's what I notice — almost all of that growth is happening in the same lane. More exercises. Better cueing. Stronger programming. And those things matter. But the instructors who are genuinely standing out right now aren't just better at the body — they understand the brain. They know how the visual system affects movement. How vestibular input drives stability. How the nervous system decides what's safe to do. That knowledge is still rare. And rare is the opposite of saturated. You don't need a less crowded market. You need a different vantage point.


The instructors who understand the brain aren't competing with everyone else — they're in a completely different conversation.
